Mars Drinks supports local charities

Reinforcing a commitment to support the local community, members of the Mars Volunteer Programme (MVP) have recently been taking part in a number of activities with some fantastic charities.
Grand opening of Sebastian’s Action Trust holiday home
After its ground breaking ceremony back in 2010, Sebastian’s Action Trust is now ready to welcome its first visitors. The team here at Mars Drinks was honoured to be invited to the grand opening of this great facility.
Midnight Walk for St Michael’s Hospice
The annual Midnight Walk took place around Basingstoke in aid of St. Michael’s Hospice at the beginning of September. A team of eight Mars Drinks volunteers gave up their evening to serve some much needed comforting and refreshing hot drinks to more than 800 participants in the walk.
Open day at Naomi House
At Naomi’s House annual Open Day, six of our volunteers pitched up a stall to serve tea, coffee and hot chocolate from Mars Drinks’ vending machines to the visitors. There was an abundance of fundraising activities going on throughout the day including prize raffles, musical entertainment, BBQs and face painting.
The successful day raised an astounding total of £9,500 with over 1000 visitors coming to see the grounds at Naomi's house. The MVP team was thrilled to be able to play a part.
