Mars Drinks™ volunteer team fundraise for local charities

With the Mars Volunteer Programme (MVP) month in full swing we just wanted to give you a quick update about what’s going on at the Mars Drinks offices in Basingstoke.
Along with the charity open day, our team of volunteers from both the KLIX® and Single Serve brands will be taking part in the following great events:
• Charity car wash – fancy having your car washed by your boss? At the end of the month, for a small charitable donation, members of the Mars Drinks team will have the opportunity to get their car washed by their colleagues.
• DBay launch – this is an internal auction system that works a bit like ebay where Mars Drinks team members can offer up items they no longer use for their colleagues to bid against each other.
• Library Launch – we’re excited to be opening up an internal library of books donated by members of our team that can be borrowed for a small donation.
All the funds raised from the various activities carried out by the MVP team this month and throughout the year will be collected up and donated to local causes such as Sebastian’s Action Trust and the National Animal Welfare Trust. Activities such as these add to the continuous support that Mars Drinks devote to the local community.
