KLIX vs Bean 2 Cup – a purchasing dilemma?

Posted at 17:00 in Customer News : KLIX news

When it comes to selecting the right coffee machine for your office or organisation, it might seem a simple task at first, but can soon turn into a huge project.

It’s important to identify what the real requirements are even before starting purchasing research as it can help to narrow down the field considerably!

If the aim is to buy or hire a pure coffee machine, then there are a number of options, including ready-made Pod solutions through to the Bean 2 Cup coffee options we often see in high-street coffee shops.

Bean 2 Cup solutions can sound very attractive. We all know how lovely it is to see the fresh beans in front of us, then the amazing aroma released as the beans are ground just before brewing our delicious cup of coffee.

There are some downsides to this option though outside the high-street. If the beans are not used up quickly and replaced regularly, they can become stale and lose that amazing aroma and flavour.

KLIX uses industry-leading ‘in-cup’ technology which is a system that has been pioneered and employed by KLIX. This approach means the original taste and aroma of the coffee selected are captured in just the right quantities already in the cup where they are kept fresh right up until the point of use. The vending machine itself simply adds Brita filtered water heated to the perfect temperature to make the perfect cup every time.

This also means that every cup is as consistent, of high quality and as great-tasting as the previous brew.

And don’t forget, people’s tastes vary greatly – even throughout a single day - so it can be beneficial to offer a range of drinks rather than a single coffee option.

Bean 2 Cup machines tend to only offer up to two different coffees at one time, which does limit choice. And that means the great British preference for a piping hot cup of tea can’t always be an option.

With so many decisions it’s good to know that advice is at hand. For further insights, visit the Vending Machines section of the KLIX website.
